About (Blog/Ab)

Hey, I'm Ab Brightman and I'm fully accepting that you, as a stranger possibly the other side of the World, don't give a damn about my personal life. That's cool, it would be a bit egotistical to think that you would be to be honest. On the off-chance that you are however, let me direct you to either Life In the Sixth, Grace the Spot or my Twitter page!

And in case you wondered what's up with the glasses on the title picture and how come there's not a clock reading Five Past Twelve, then here's an alternative logo for you. But I prefer the glasses.

The name and idea - Basically, the phrase 'Five Past Tomorrow' is meant to sum-up those great nights where you stay up past midnight, either hanging with mates and having the best late-night conversations, or just by yourself, contemplating something deep and meaningful no doubt (like the sneaky milkman who never quite fills the bottle up). You look at the time, see it's 5 past 12, but instead of recognising it as a new day, you still think of it as tomorrow. Make sense? Anyway, I think that is a kinda quirky idea, and this blog will no doubt be of a similar vein - hopefully humorful, quirky and potentially thought-provoking.

Transcripts - This blog will hopefully contain a bunch of transcripts from my life. For anyone who doesn't know/can't remember exactly what a transcript is, here is the dictionary definition: 'To make a full written or typewritten copy of dictated material, for example.' There will of course be other types of posts, some detailing important life events, others simply to share something discovered, but if you're only interested in the transcripts, I advise you to scroll down to find the categories menu, then click on either 'Snipets' or 'Humorous Transcripts'.

A Few Details on Me - I'm 16, I write so much music (which you will be able to find at www.myspace.com/AbBrightman) for the piano, percussion (mainly marimba), guitar and voice, I'm passionate about human rights, philosophy, psychology and New York. I don't believe in God (doesn't mean it doesn't exist) but I do have a great moral code and desire to make an impact on the world. Also, I often see things a little different to most people because I have high functioning autism/aspergers, but I don't see that as a problem, merely a way to spice life up.
